Immigrant languages in Europe

Europe Forum - Relocation, Moving, Local City Discussions - City-Data Forum - www.city-data.com
How supported/protected by governments are immigrant languages in various european countries?

Do they learn Turkish in Germany, Arabic in France or Punjabi in the UK schools alongside German/French/English?

I do know minority language/by minority I mean historical minorities/ has and always had certain rights, but if immigrant language is not recognized by government as minority language it is probably not taught in schools?

It would be great if people commenting here would have knowledge about their country.

Here in Slovakia we don´t have many immigrants, so languages of minorities taught in schools are historical minorities like Hungarian language in elementary and secondary schools. Universities are all in state language so in Slovak language.
