Oregon Depression History

Oregon Forum - Relocation, Moving, Local City Discussions - City-Data Forum - www.city-data.com
This is an interesting video of the WPA/CCC projects in Oregon during the depression, but it's Columbia-centric. It covers Bonneville and Timberline, but it doesn't mention the lodge at Crater Lake, the lodge at Hoodoo, or Vista House. It doesn't mention the Corps of Engineers deepening the Columbia channel to bring better shipping to Portland. It doesn't mention highway 101, or the sections of 99 that were paved in Southern Oregon.

Oregon was a big recipient of federal aid during the Great Depression.
