FP+ What's your strategy?

Touring the 'World': The Parks at Walt Disney World - PassPorter Community - Boards & Forums on Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and General Travel - www.passporterboards.com
The new FP+ rules that have gone into effect (get another FP after you use the first 3) has gotten me thinking. What strategy would be better and under what circumstances?

For me (not usually a hopper), I would tend to choose 2. but it probably would depend on the park I want to visit. I think I might choose 1 on MK days. The biggest factor for me would be what FPs might be available later in the day and how busy will the FP kiosks get with folks booking more FPs. I'm curious to hear reports from those who get to try this new option.
