Air China's free baggage allowance

Air Travel Forum - TripAdvisor - www.tripadvisor.com
Hello fellow travelers,

I've been doing some research on this topic for a while but then decided to ask the question myself as the information i got so far are pretty inconsistent and i somehow doubt the accuracy of the information on Air China's website. I'm going to fly Air China from Frankfurt to Jakarta via Beijing in Economy this December. I've got my E-Ticket and on it is stated that i'm allowed to bring 2 pieces of checked baggage, each weighing no more than 23 kg (50 lbs). Now that sounds too good to be true so i started searching for information. Some websites (including Air China's) state that the allowance on their international routes is only 1 piece weighing max 23 kg, and only on their flights to Japan is it 2 pieces. However, seeing that my E-Ticket stated otherwise, there is also a possibility that the allowance is indeed 2 pieces (or that's a simple mistake). I wonder if anybody can tell me what the real allowance is, and if it's indeed 2 pieces, is it allowed to check only one baggage weighing more than 23 kg. Thanks in advance and safe travels!
