Wine in ordinary pubs?

London Forum, Travel Discussion for London - TripAdvisor - www.tripadvisor.com
My usual habit when in the UK has been to order a pint, or a half, in three or four pubs during my daily wanderings. I was thinking of switching to wine as my main drink this time (meaning some of the time). I know I can just walk into anyplace and ask for a glass of white or red, and that it's more usual nowadays, but would this be about the same cost as the typical pint - meaning about three to four pounds?
