WDW questions...

Orlando Forum, Travel Discussion for Orlando - TripAdvisor - www.tripadvisor.com
Hey guys

We are travelling from Australia in sept this year for a Disney themed holiday, we arriving 24th and getting straight on a Disney cruise for 4 nights then want to spend some time at WDW...

my questions are:

1. What is a good neighbour hotel walking distance to "downtown Disney" for shopping (don't need to stay at a Disney hotel but if we did we looking at art of animation just for the themed rooms for our 6 year old) recommendations gladly accepted.

2. Being our first Disneyworld trip is 1 park a day ticket ok or should we just get a park hopper?

3. Is water parks ok to visit in sept (I know weather is hard to predict but is sept ok for water)

Any other tips or tricks u have would be awesome, we have done DL in 2013 so looking for the next adventure with WDW.

Thanks

Emma
