Location of Largest (or Most Accessible) Train Station Rome

Rome Forum, Travel Discussion for Rome - TripAdvisor - www.tripadvisor.com
Hi all,

Going to Rome with my wife for a week in early December. We've been to Italy a few times and love going from city to city on the train. We did this before in Venice and it was fantastic. What location would be best where we can have an easy walk to the train while being around the city? Which train station would you all use? We're going to stay within Italy and just want to travel to cities like Siena, Florence, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
