3rd trip itinerary
This will be my 3rd solo trip to NYC next week, 2015 & 2017 being the previous. I have a pretty loose itinerary this time, only being bound by evening events I've booked. I'll be staying at west 23rd street, the same place I've stayed both times before, so I'm decent enough at getting around via subway or walking.
Any ideas to fill in the blanks, tips, or answer a question is appreciated!
Tue 22 - Met Museum and central park, maybe try to see the Navy band at 1.15pm. Maybe visit MOMA and TOTR. Maybe do the NBC tour. Ride the Roosevelt tram? Not sure.
Tue 22 - Wicked 7pm
Wed 23 - Ships parade. Time isn't announceed yet. Not sure of best place to watch this. I'd like to take pics so would like a good vantage point. I have a decent camera and zoom lens. If Battery park is a good option I'd probably then head to Brooklyn and visit the Botanics and Greenwood cemetery.
Wed 23 - Billy Joel 8pm
Thu 24- I'd like to do a ship tour. Visiting the Intrepid and whatever ship is at pier 90 seems to be the best option for me I think.
I have nothing else planned. Most likely wander and take photos, go to Macy's, during the day and then go out at evening and take photos. Maybe go see a show.
Fri 25 - I was going to go see Miley Cyrus at the GMA plaza but it's a bit early for me... I have nothing planned....
Fri 25 - Yankees game 7pm. I got decent seats I think. Section 120A 1st row. I've been there for a NYCFC game before.
I've been watching the team this year so I'm looking forward to it. I just stayed up till 2.30 only to watch the game get rained out last night, I hope that doesn't happen =)
Sat 26 - I have to find somewhere to wach the Champions league final at 3pm. Being a Liverpool fan that's a must! I'm going to the Red Bulls game at 7pm so maybe there is somewhere near the stadium to watch the Liverpool game beforehand?
Sun 27 - Adios, Adieu, Farewell!
It' all a bit loosey goosey but I haven't had much time to plan. I'd like to see some fleet week things but I'd have to look into it more. TBH I don't mind wandering around during the day and seeing where it takes me, but If you know of anything interesting that might be going on I'm open to suggestions.
