Afternoon Tea (Mom and Two teenagers) Sketch or Sanderson's

London Forum, Travel Discussion for London - TripAdvisor - www.tripadvisor.com
We will be in London in June and looking to experience an afternoon tea. My two girls are 16 and 12 and I have narrowed down the choices to either the Mad Hatter Tea at the Sanderson or the tea offered at Sketch. Has anyone been to both and can recommend one over the other? Also, Does anyone have a recommendation for a fun, unique, good food/great service dinner for my family (adding a husband and a son to this one) in London to celebrate my husband's birthday. Really looking for ambiance and an experience. Thank you in advance for any recommendations. I have been a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information on here. Would love to hear what you have to say. I will also add no dietary restrictions, budget is open (within reason) Will have limited wardrobes so nothing too fancy.
