What to do on Free First Sunday this Nov to avoid crowds
My husband and i will be in Rome for 4 days the beginning of November. One of those days is the first Sunday of the month when many attractions are free, meaning also crowded. Maybe in Nov less so? I'm looking for suggestions of what to do that day. Here is what I have planned so far:
Staying in Monti at Princeps
Friday - we arrive at FCO at 9... I've booked a private Freebiketoursrome guided bike ride for that afternoon to stay awake and get the overview of the city. Hoping to just do aperitvo for dinner and then crash. Suggestions for that near Monti would be great too.
Saturday - Through Eternity Colloseum and Forum tour from 2-5:30
Sunday - ?? Maybe Trastavere? Ghetto? Walk and explore and get lost? Borghese and don't worry about crowds?
Monday - WalksofItaly Pristine Sistine Tour and Vatican Museum
Tues - train to Venice
Thanks in advance!!
