Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route - September

The G Adventures Watering Hole - Travel Forum • View forum - Africa and Middle East - wateringhole.gadventures.com
Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a type of sleeping bag for a September hike. I note that some sites recommend an extreme alpine sleeping bag for Kili hikes but it sounds like the weather in september isn't that cold. I don't want to have to pay several hundred dollars for an alpine sleeping bag if my regular winter bag might suffice. Any tips and thoughts would be much appreciated. I'm also curious as to whether or not it's worth taking water proof pants. They were recommended on both of my last hikes - Inca Trail and Mont Blanc and I never used them.

I look forward to hearing from you

Thanks

Alice
