Moving to Greenville Co, SC with biracial school age child
I've read through some of the threads and didn't see one that was recent that addressed my question. My extended family (my mom, myself, my 7 year old, my ex-daughter-in-law, and my 4 year old grandson) are moving to SC this summer and the Greenville County area was recommended for a few reasons. My daughter is biracial (I'm white and her father is black, she appears to be black to the world) and she is at the very high-end of the Autism Spectrum Disorder scale. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on how well she will fit in to the area being biracial and if the schools are well-equipped to handle students with education plans. We are looking at Simpsonville specifically, but anywhere in the county would be open to us.
