Uber, Taxi, Underground, Tube, HOHO or Heathrow Express?
I am in London 24 hours. I need transportation on Saturday 9am from LHI to central London & will need to get back Sunday morning in order to make my 6:40am flight to Stockholm, so thinking I need to be at the airport by 5am or so if I stay in central London (hotel TBD). Solo traveler here, so I can move quick on my own.
I have sights I want to see mostly, as I won't be doing tours/museums. I would like to see the exterior of Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square & go inside the Shard and/or ride the London Eye to get some photography shots. (Also either see or go inside Tower Bridge)
1) Best transportation between central London & Heathrow Airport for 2 trips?
2) Best transportation around central London for above sights/places?
I am deciding if I should do the London Pass/Original Tour Hop-On, Hop-Off as a way to get around to the above or just take some sort of train? Is Uber really expensive? I am from CA & noticed when in NY recently, the default is the carpool Uber function to cut costs - any insight would be great.
Not sure of the best way to maximize my short time as far as transportation, so please help!
Thank you so much!
